Keeping it's tradition of serving the Humanity, Sha'oor is launching Iftaar Eesar 2013.

Sha'oor The Society - Fateh Jang Chapter is arranging the Activity of Notebook Distribution for needy children, Session 2013 at Fateh Jang.

It is said that: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

So you can change the future of so many kids just by donating note books. Participate in this activity, it would be cause of Sadqa-e-Jaria!

PAKIOGRAPHY - An Illustration of Pakistan is an initiative of Sha'oor. It is a Photography and Video Competition which aims to bring awareness about Pakistan and its issues and to give the artists a platform to share their views.

Sha'oor is holding a joint venture with AJS Photography to organize an Adventurous Photo-walk to Khanpur.

You will get a chance to experience adventure and fun both at the same time. The activities include Boating (optional), Caving and Photography.

Quality transport, food, and security will be provided . It will be made sure you get a quality time, a mind boggling experience, a quality food and a chance to learn from other experienced photographers.

A massive fire took lives of more than 350 people at a factory in Karachi. The cause of fire and the aftermath are still being investigated. The reports mainly suggest that the loss is due to inadequate precaution measures taken at the building.But do the inadequate measures justify the working of children and a large number of women at the factory? Does it justify the non-availability of enough emergency exits? Is human life this cheap? Why can't the factory owners earning handfuls from industry arrange d
rills for their workers? Why can't the disaster management authorities be right on time and put off fire? Why do we have to find an excuse every time to hide our shame?

To find answers to all the questions join us with your friends and family. We shall not let our people become victim of someone Else's mistake!
IT time we press the government to hasten the investigation and punish the culprit!

Sha'oor The Society Fateh Jang Chapter is arranging a one day motivational conference for the Fateh Jang, especially for the Youth of Fateh Jang. Different renown Trainers from all over Pakistan will conduct the sessions in this conference and share their wonderful experiences with the audience.

We're celebrating Eid at children ward PIMS (Pakistan Institute of Medical sciences) where we shall add value to the lives of the little souls. The day shall bring to them joys of face painting, coloring, balloons and goodie bags for they may not be able to see the next Eid!
The children come from very poor families or have no one to look after them.

"Whosoever feeds another who fasted, in order to break the fast at sunset, for the feeder there shall be forgiveness of sins and freedom from the fire of Jahannum (hellfire), and for such a feeder shall be the same reward as the one who Fasted (who he fed) without that persons reward being decreased in the least."�

With the approaching month of Ramzan we have decided to feed our brothers who cannot afford the luxuries of aftar. Join us!

Sha’oor- The Society brings to you an opportunity to spend the Independence Day with Saba Homes- Honoring the Orphans.

A first aid course has been arranged at Air University to equip the students with traits to cater to medical emergencies in the hour of distress.

Sha'oor agrees to collaborate with NUPSA (national union of Pakistani students and alumni) for Pehchan Pakistan. Pehchan Pakistan is an initiative of NUPSA that aims to cover all universities and colleges of Pakistan and there by, address the identity crisis faced by the youth.

Convoy 7 is back from Kot addu after the third consecutive distribution to the area. Kot addu a far flung area in southern Punjab has been selected as an area where team Sha’oor wishes to concentrate its resources after initial help across the country.

Sha'oor launches its first ever magazine with the name "Sha'oor Pakistan". The magazine shall cover events of Sha'oor plus it will be a platform for youth to express its point of view about different perspectives. Inputs for the magazine are welcome. The magazine is due to be published in the 3rd week of December.

Sha'oor in-house team (Air University, Islamabad) takes oath for the session 2010-2011. Vice chancellor, Air University took oath from the society members whom the officials promise to bear to the best of their potentials and work progressively for the betterment of society and humanity.

Sha'oor signs MOU (memorandum of understanding) with Khudi Pakistan- a youth based organization that works to promote a positive image of Pakistan. On this prestigious event, people from all walks of life were present alongside prominent public figures such as Hamid Mir, Fasi Zaka.

Sha'oor society arranges Capacity Building Session for students of Air University. The speakers to the event shall be Syed Ali Hameed, Syed Bilal Qutb. The day's long activity has a trip arranged to SOS Children Village Rawalpindi as part of community service for the students.

Syed Bilal Qutb, former lecturer at Boston University and a public speaker has been invited by Sha’oor society at Air University for a session on “essentials and non- essentials for youth�

Sha'oor's forward team is back from Kot Addu; as a part of rehabilitation plan; after successful distribution of 300 tents alongside quilts and food packages for the approaching winters.

Syed Ali Hameed, President Sha'oor- The society conducted a youth training session at MAJU (Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad) under the platform of ITL (institute of transformational leadership) on ‘VISION AND ITS INCORPORATION WITH FAITH’. His session enlightened the audience about the impact of direction, vision and identity crisis and its after math in life.
